Today is the first day of the hut-building festival. Everyone who signed up for the hut-building festival is expected on the island today at 10:00 a.m. Please check in at the registration tables in front of the gate. Even if you already have a wristband and a group, please check in so we know you’re here! Drinks will be provided; if you’re staying for lunch, you’ve already signed up for Monday, right??

You must wear sturdy shoes due to nails (no flip-flops, corks, or bare feet)! Bring a hammer and/or saw (available for rent on the island), wear gloves (available for purchase on the island, limited stock), and put on old clothes and old shoes; a cap for the sun can also be very handy.

Dancing, singing, swaying—anything goes!

Today is the second and final day of the hut-building festival, and you’ll continue working on your hut. First, check in at the registration table by the gate so we know you’re here. Don’t forget to bring your lunch token from home so you can hand it in at lunchtime. Did you finish your hut on time? Then you can decorate it today with paint and fabric so your hut will be the prettiest one.

Do you also like to read, puzzle or play a game?
During the opening hours of the Flevo-theek, every reading, puzzle or game lover is welcome. The Flevo-theek is located in the building opposite the entrance to the restaurant.

A small fee is charged for borrowing books, jigsaw puzzles and/or games. You can also take out an annual subscription. The proceeds are used to purchase new puzzles and/or games.
Have you run out of puzzles or games? You can hand in the box at location Butterfly 12. It is also possible to donate jigsaw puzzles. Your donation is greatly appreciated!

Ria Veltman is present in the Recreade to get creative with you. If you like to do the following: make cards, paint, draw, crochet, knit, etc. then join Flevo's Crea club. Always wanted to learn how to dance salsa? Now's your chance!
Every week, we organize a fun and accessible salsa dance class at the recreation center.
The class is specifically for beginners and is suitable for both singles and couples. No experience is necessary, and you can join at any time. Fun and moving together are the most important things!
