Children and naturism
- With the family to Naturist Park Flevo Natuur?
Yes, of course! Just like textile parks, Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur has many facilities for the whole family; the only difference is that everyone walks around naked. In addition, Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur has a recreational program for young and old in all school vacations. It is often said that the atmosphere at a naturist campsite is more friendly and open.
- Do teens struggle with naturism?
Naturism is great to experience alone, in pairs or with the whole family. Small children often love to run around naked when they are young, already naturists. Once children get a little older and enter puberty, children begin to form their own opinions about the world and often become more insecure about their bodies changing. During this period, some teenagers choose to wear clothing or tie a towel around their waist. This is respected by the other guests, but care must be taken to make it clear that being naked is part of naturism. Being nude on the island and in and around the pool is mandatory, so too for teens.
- Are there any activities organized at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur?
At Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur various fun activities are organized to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can think of a winter fair with nice stalls, the circus, a cabin building party, dog day, Sinterklaas party and many more fun activities to make your vacation at Naturistencamping Flevo Natuur even more fun!
- Is there an animation team at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur?
Yes, an enthusiastic animation team is present at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur during the school vacations. This team provides a varied program of activities for young and old, including soccer and volleyball tournaments, movie, game and creativity nights, puzzle tours, fairs and much more. There is also plenty to do for the little ones, including pasting, cutting, crafts and the occasional fun movie.
The first time naked
- Is being naked mandatory?
Yes, it is mandatory, when the weather permits, to be naked. Just "nice and clean." Of course, there are times when someone prefers to keep their panties on or wrap up a pareo or towel. In that case, however, you are not allowed to enter the pool, sauna or island. Almost every naturist puts on clothes to protect themselves from the cold.
Naturists assume that clothing is not meant to hide the body. At Naturist Camping Flevo Nature, it is customary for guests to be naked basically everywhere, including the supermarket, the reception or the bar. However, in the evening, when dining in the restaurant or during a party night, almost everyone wears clothing. In general, being naked is mandatory if the weather permits.
At the pool terrace, at a certain temperature it is mandatory to be naked. There is a thermometer hanging and from 7 p.m. it is free choice.
- How should I behave when talking to others?
Behave just like when you have clothes on. By the way, there is nothing wrong with looking. In the beginning it may happen to you that your gaze is drawn to certain body parts that are not otherwise visible with clothes on. Of course, avoid staring. After some time, you will no longer notice that you are naked - PURPOSE ENJOYING!!!
- What are the rules of conduct at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur?
In general, the normal norms and values we are familiar with apply. Politeness and respect for another person are highly valued at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur. For hygienic reasons, you put down a towel on the chair on which you are going to sit. Naturists in general are very concerned with nature and everyone cleans up their own waste, but also that of others. Be economical with energy and water.
- What if I get an erection?
This is perhaps the biggest fear men have when going to a naturist park/campground for the first time. As with public swimming pools, there is no sexually charged atmosphere at Naturist Camping Flevo Natuur and this, combined with any slight tension if it is the first time, ensures that there is no need to feel anxious. Should you get an erection, concealingly drape a towel around you, jump in the pool or, if you are sunbathing, turn on your stomach. After all, the saying goes, "Bare beats death."
- What if I have my period?
Many women use a tampon when they have their period. Others wear panties, pareo or towel for several days. Menstruation is part of a woman's life, and naturists fully understand if a woman keeps her panties on for a certain period of time. Therefore, during that period, do not go to the pool, saunas or the island.
- Isn't it dangerous to expose yourself to the sun?
Leaving out a piece of fabric like a swimsuit, bathing suit or bikini only slightly increases sun exposure. In fact, the sun on bare skin is healthy, because then the body produces vitamin D. Be careful not to spend too long in the sun because, as with many things, too much is not good. Be sure to apply protective sunscreen in time; this prevents sunburn and skin aging. Even in the shade you can burn, so keep applying every 2 hours. In the afternoon hours, when the sun is at its highest, stay out of the sun as much as possible and seek shade.
- Isn't being naked sexually charged?
People going to a naturist park/campground or nude beach for the first time are often surprised by the absence of a sexual charge. Scantily clad individuals are often much more provocative than people who are completely nude. The fact that nudity implies sexuality is the biggest prejudice about naturism. Naturists, like non-naturists, also feel that everything has its own time and place.
