All children under 16 are welcome to participate in So You Think You Can Opgieten KIDS! In the morning, you’ll practice with members of the opgieten team and come up with a theme for your opgieten. By theme, we mean, for example: choosing some fun music, or picking out costumes and props to use during your opgieting, or coming up with a story to tell. Anything goes, as long as it’s fun! In the afternoon, you’ll practice one more time in front of all the other kids. The people from the Aufguss team can still help you then. We call this the dress rehearsal. After that, we’ll do the real thing—we call this the main performance. The sauna will be filled with guests who have come to watch your Aufguss. How fun is that! And at the end, you’ll get a big round of applause, an Aufguss certificate, and a small gift!

Of course, together is always cozier than alone. Therefore, every Saturday at 9 a.m. we go out together. Will you join us? We leave from the reception. Put on old shoes or boots and walk for over an hour. It is freedom-freedom. You decide per walk whether or not you want to join us. In fact, there is always someone who will join the walk. On the day itself we can discuss where we walk to, for example, meandering through the Hulkestein forest or a round Laakse Slenk.
